During the current crisis, like many other musicians our livelihood has disappeared. If you’d consider making a donation – whether for SingTheScore, podcasts (or even better might join as a Friend/Patron – see below) we’d be most grateful.
You can make a one-off donation through PayPal using the button here, or email friends@ifagiolini.com for bank details
“The best Friends organisation by far that I know of.”  A recent FriendÂ
“Can I join?” James Bowman
Why is I Fagiolini unusual among vocal groups? Teamwork and memorisation of repertoire, dramatic daring, empathy with audiences worldwide: in the end it’s the group’s very special character. By becoming a Fagiolini Friend/Parton you’ll gain insights into their fascinating productions. (If you’re already a Friend, use the link above for newsletters, open rehearsal details and more.)
Regular emails from Robert Hollingworth keep Friends abreast of what I Fagiolini is doing. Many Friends are also singers, and there are occasional singing days as well as priority booking for courses Robert is tutoring.
The Friends have explored Gesualdo’s Tenebrae Responsories with fascinating insights into the composer’s psyche from forensic psychiatrist Dr Ruth McAllister. They’ve worked on the Striggio 40-part mass with professional musicians and most recently looked at Monteverdi both sacred and secular in his anniversary year with special guest contributions from Matthew Brook (former I Fagiolini baritone), Richard Wistreich (an expert on Monteverdi’s own singers) and singer Greg Skidmore. Friends have also had the best seat in the house at rehearsals of Monteverdi: The Other Vespers and sat right in the middle of the Striggio 40-part mass.
Friends
(suggested minimum donation £30; joint Friends £45)
Patrons
Some of our supporters donate larger sums, which is of immense benefit to the work we do (suggested minimum donation £100; joint Patrons £150)
The Fabaelous Club
This is a small group of donors who want to make a real difference to what we do in a world where public Arts funding (and music education – don’t get us started) is diminishing. Entry is £1000 per annum and the benefits are so mysterious and wonderful that they cannot be writ.
Any queries on any of this, just click this link friends@ifagiolini.com and you’ll get a quick response. However joining the main group is easy – see below:
